The miraculous Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God, the most sacred icon of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad, will be visiting Walsingham in November as follows:
Thursday, 13 November 2025
6pm Arrival of the Icon at the Skete, where we will sing the Akathist to the Mother of God. (38A High Street). Everyone is welcome!
Friday, 14 November 2025
9am Reception of the Icon at the Anglican Shrine.
9.30am The 3rd and 6th Hours, followed by Divine Liturgy.
Refreshments in Norton Room afterwards.
Icon Departs.
