Lights switch on & Christmas crib
Community carol singing, stalls, raffle, refreshments, hog roast, fancy dress, pony rides, children’s disco.

Do we all want to keep Walsingham litter free?

As part of our Walsingham Open Spaces for All project, we asked the Walsingham Primary schoolchildren for some artwork to illustrate our new ‘Please keep Walsingham tidy’ signs. They have done brilliantly, and these signs will soon be going up around the village.

 

 

Come along to the Friends of Walsingham Summer Fete and Craft Fair on Sunday 8th July, 11am-4pm

Raffle, tombola, BBQ, plants, refreshments, sweets stall, Lucky Square and many other stalls.

A fire engine will be there for a few hours (barring call outs!)

Lots of fun, displays and entertainment!

Plus fantastic prizes to be won in the grand prize raffle! Come along and support our lovely little school, all money raised goes to the school except for the charity lucky square, where the proceeds go to Heritage House.

Prize Draw tickets are now on sale at Walsingham Village Stores,  The Lifeboat in Wells next the Sea along with The Carpenters Arms, Wighton; Walsingham Primary School and Alan’s Hair Designs, Fakenham.
Fantastic prizes only 50p per ticket. To be drawn on the day, Sunday 8th July (Fete Day)

The Milky Way Walsingham Group logo

This is a new Walsingham breastfeeding group offering peer-to-peer support. Co-ordinators Mel Fielding and Zoe Wenzel welcome mums and expectant mums who are interested in giving their baby any amount of breastmilk for any length of time. Mums who are visitors to the area, for holiday or pilgrimage, are also welcome.
The Milky Way meets on the first Tuesday of the month, 1.15pm-3.00pm, during term time at Walsingham CE VA Primary School, Wells Road, NR22 6DU.

Children are welcome. Tea and coffee are available. Bring healthy snacks.

Meeting dates: 3 October, 7 November, 5 December 2017 and 9 January, 6 February, 6 March, 3 April, 1 May, 5 June and 3 July 2018.

The aim of Milky Way group is to give breastfeeding mothers informed confidence in their mothering.
The group supports the basic philosophy of La Leche League (see www.laleche.org.uk and http://www.llli.org/).
