Clean for the Queen

March 22nd, 2016

CLean for the Queen Walsingham 2016On a lovely sunny spring afternoon there were worse things to be doing than spend an hour or two gathering litter for Walsingham’s Clean for the Queen. Provided with special purple litter sacks, grabbers and gloves, the small band of pickers set off from the Mill Car Park each taking a different route out of the village.

March Bulletin

In the, we hope temporary, absence of a parish magazine, Walsingham Parish Council has produced a printed Bulletin which is being delivered to all houses in the village. Included is important information about the forthcoming local elections, what’s on in Walsingham and more.

New Playground opens

Walsingham Parish Council is also pleased to announce the refurbishment of the playground in Wells Road. We hope that families will enjoy the new equipment. The Parish Council and Recreation Trust are hugely appreciative of the financial support they have received for this project, which included £8,000 from the North Norfolk Big Society Fund.

Formal opening of the Playground will be with the Primary School on Thursday 26th March at 2.30pm. All are warmly welcome.
