Charity Snowdrop Walk in aid of Walking4Norfolk

February 21st, 2019

James Bagge walked the 1500 miles from Lynn to Santiago de Compostela last year to raise money for the unpaid carers of Norfolk, an astonishing way to follow his year as High Sheriff of Norfolk. His Walking4Norfolk fund created by this amazing sponsored walk, can now support carers through funding many different local independent projects, helping to make their lives a little easier. It is administered by the Norfolk Community Foundation.

The Walsingham Abbey charity snowdrop walk on Saturday 23rd Feb in aid of the Walking4Norfolk Fund successfully raised over £4,000, thank you so much to all who attended.

At the end of the day James gave his ‘Talk on the Walk’ at the Parish Hall about the journey, an insight into the joys and travails of today’s pilgrim travelling on foot through Europe.
