IN THE PARISH OF WALSINGHAM ON WEDNESDAY 14 AUGUST 2024
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC MOVEMENT
Norfolk County Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the Walsingham Assumption 24 event, they intend to make a Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic on the U14092
Church Street, to the U14091 Friday Market Place, along the C586 High Street, onto the C597 Common Place and continuing along the C597 Holt Road to the Anglican Shrine in the PARISH of Walsingham.
The Order will come into effect on Wednesday 14 August 2024 and will remain in force for 2.5hours. The road will be temporarily restricted (except for emergency and pedestrian access) on Wednesday 14 August 2024 between 6.30pm and 9pm. Restrictions on traffic will only be enforced until normal traffic flow can be maintained.
Where appropriate during the period of the closure temporary suspension of existing permanent Traffic Orders may be imposed.
Alternative route will be via: Egmere Road, Knight Street, Holt Road, High Street, Fakenham Road.
