NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL, ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 16A AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (SPECIAL EVENTS) ACT 1994 IN THE PARISH OF WALSINGHAM
ON TUESDAY 8 APRIL 2025 TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC MOVEMENT
Norfolk County Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the
Walsingham Student Cross Pilgrimage, they intend to make a Traffic Order,
the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic on the
C325 Walsingham Road / Barsham Road and C586 Fakenham Road /
High Street from its junction with U14025 Greenway, heading Northeast for
3000m, in the PARISH of Walsingham.
The Order will come into effect on Tuesday 08 April 2025 and will remain in
force for 2 hours. The road will be temporarily restricted (except for
emergency and pedestrian access) on Tuesday 08 April 2025 between
3.30pm and 5.30pm. Restrictions on traffic will only be enforced until normal
traffic flow can be maintained.
Where appropriate during the period of the closure temporary suspension of
existing permanent Traffic Orders may be imposed.
Alternative route will be via: C336 Egmere Road, B1105 Wells Road, and
U14025 Greenway
