Model Farm is a lovely 18th century farmhouse on the edge of the village of Great Walsingham. The two attractive bedrooms, a double and a twin, with adjoining bathroom, have beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. Children are welcome, although we do not have a family room.
The farmhouse is in a wonderful south facing position, looking across open countryside to St. Peter's Church. Little Owls and Barn Owls can often be spotted in the paddock.
A full English breakfast is served in the beamed dining room, where we have a cosy woodburner for cooler days. We make our own bread and preserves, and, where possible, source local products. We also cater for any special dietary requirements as requested.
Outside and garden
The lovely garden is the ideal place to sit with a welcoming cup of tea when you arrive. You can look across the water meadows and hopefully see Buzzards, Red Kites and Marsh harriers as they drift over the fields. We grow a lot of our own produce and, of course, flowers for the rooms.
There is plenty of space for parking, and the main entrance is at the back of the house. There is also space to leave bikes.
Just five minutes from Little Walsingham village and the Anglican Shrine.
1 double, 1 twin adjoining bathroom.
