NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL, ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 16A AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (SPECIAL EVENTS) ACT 1994
IN THE PARISH OF WALSINGHAM ON SATURDAY 7 DECEMBER 2024 TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC MOVEMENT
Norfolk County Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the Walsingham Christmas Lights and Carols, they intend to make a Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic on the
C597 Common Place from its junction with C597 Holt Road to its junction with C586 High Street; C586 from its junction with U11474 Bridewell Street to its junction with U14091 Friday Market Place; U11474 Bridewell Street from its junction with C586 to its junction with C586 Guild Street in the PARISH OF WALSINGHAM.
The Order will come into effect on Saturday 7 December 2024 and will remain in force for 5 hours. The road will be temporarily restricted (except for emergency and pedestrian access) on Saturday 7 December 2024 between
4pm and 9pm. Restrictions on traffic will only be enforced until normal traffic flow can be maintained.
Where appropriate during the period of the closure, temporary suspension of existing permanent Traffic Orders may be imposed.
