Notice of temporary road closure

NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL has made a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the C586 Guild Street from its junction with the U11474 Bridewell Street for a distance of 75 metres north eastwards in the PARISH OF WALSINGHAM because of BT works to replace carriageway frame and cover.
The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) from 2nd September 2020 to 4th September 2020 for the duration of the works, expected to be 3 days within the period.
Alternative route is via: Knight Street, Common Place, High Street, Fakenham Road, Walsingham Road, Wells Road, Egmere Road (Barsham, Walsingham).
(If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order).
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance.
