NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the 1) C586 High Street from a distance 10 metres north of its junction with the U14091 Friday Market Place for a distance of 40 metres southwards; 2) U14091 Friday Market Place from its junction with the C586 High Street for a distance of 25 metres westwards; in the PARISH OF WALSINGHAM because of electrical connection works.
The roads 1) and 2) will be temporarily closed (except for access) from 24th September 2018 to 28th September 2018 for the duration of the works, expected to be 5 days within the period.
Alternative routes are via:
1) C586 High Street, C597 Common Place/ Holt Road, C317 Snoring Road/ Walsingham Road/ The Street/ Norwich Road, A148 Holt Road/ Fakenham Bypass, B1105 Barsham Road, C586 Fakenham Road.
2) U14093 Cokers Hill, C336 Guild Street, C597 Knight Street/ Common Place, C586 High Street.
(Little Snoring, Kettlestone, Sculthorpe, Great Snoring, Barsham, Walsingham, Fakenham)
(If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order).
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance.
