Cycling around WalsinghamOn Yer Bike!

Walsingham is the perfect base for cycling – not too many cars or hills!. Fill your lungs with good clean air as you bike round our quiet country lanes.

You could visit the churches in the nearby North, East and West Barsham villages, Little and Great Snoring, and the ruined church in the deserted village of Egmere. Or bike to Holkham Hall and cycle around the grounds and down to the beach, coming back via Wells-next-the-Sea.

The splendid ruins of Binham Priory are only a couple of miles away and will give you a happy afternoon exploring, with a good pub to visit before you return. Or cycle to the community nature reserve at Sculthorpe Moor and check out the wildlife.

An excellent map for cycle routes in Norfolk is available from goldeneyemaps.com or pick up local circuit routes from nationalcyclenetwork.org.uk.

Bring your own bike or arrange to hire one from On Yer Bike Cycle Hire in Wighton. They are just over a mile away and will happily drop bikes off to you in Walsingham if you arrange it in advance. Call 01328 820719 or visit norfolkcyclehire.co.uk.
