Nominated in the 2017 Oscars Best Animation category, an animated film which defies categorisation. A film for half term week, this is not a purely children’s film. Claude Barras’ stop-motion animated feature is a poignant and well observed story about the darker side of childhood. It touches on bereavement, bullying and the desperate plight of young orphans but does so in a way that is humorous and ultimately redemptive.

This is a new Walsingham breastfeeding group offering peer-to-peer support. Co-ordinators Mel Fielding and Zoe Wenzel welcome mums and expectant mums who are interested in giving their baby any amount of breastmilk for any length of time. Mums who are visitors to the area, for holiday or pilgrimage, are also welcome.
The Milky Way meets on the first Tuesday of the month, 1.15pm-3.00pm, during term time at Walsingham CE VA Primary School, Wells Road, NR22 6DU.
Children are welcome. Tea and coffee are available. Bring healthy snacks.
Meeting dates: 3 October, 7 November, 5 December 2017 and 9 January, 6 February, 6 March, 3 April, 1 May, 5 June and 3 July 2018.
The aim of Milky Way group is to give breastfeeding mothers informed confidence in their mothering.
