Building Facade - Common Place

The snowdrop season for 2018 has now ended, but spring is definitely there to enjoy in the Abbey Grounds, which remain open daily, with entry at the Shirehall Museum.

We were delighted that the Charity Snowdrop Walk on Saturday 17th February in aid of Wells Community Hospital was such a great success.

Thanks to beautiful sunny weather, it was a really great fundraising day. Adding together the admissions, income from refreshments provided by the hospital’s team of volunteers at the Parish Hall, donations from Creake Plant Centre (selling plants at the Parish Hall) and from the Walsingham Farms Shop pop-up café in the Abbey Grounds, the total came to a magnificent £5,284.58.

Huge thanks to everyone who contributed.

The snowdrops are gently fading and swathes of daffodils are taking their place.
